What I'm watching on Thursday, Musical Announcer Chairs, Who gets to sue Vince?, Locker Room Rules, and we get yelled at.

Slow day today, so how about I bang out one or two quick bites and we all call it a day, huh?

Wow... I just used the word "day" three times in one sentence. Either I'm a genius or an idiot.

BIG SMACKDOWN REPORT!! YOU MUST READ THIS!!!

It'll be on tomorrow on most UPN stations.

HAWHAWHAW I KILL ME!!!

Oh God, I love doing that.

I DO hear that Tajiri does one HELL of a cool job on the mic. It should rock.

I also hear that Austin will be confronted on his new attitudes.... and his reaction will be unusual.

Oh, and Lance Storm takes on Chris Jericho. But that's all you get out of me.

Meanwhile, I'll be taking advantage of summer reruns and catch up on my Alyssa Milano spank-off duties by watching a little Charmed.... here is a spoiler for THAT:

"oh yeah... oh oh... yeah... flip your hair bitch... oh ohhh.... look at those perky boobies... yeah... that's it... smile... make a smart little remark.... OH OH bend over ... turn around.. lemme see that ass.... yeah... yeaah... 1-800-co-lick.... oh... oh COMMERCIALS??? OH NONONONONONOOOOOO!!!"

That's MY Thursday night.

HE'S IN, HE'S OUT, HE'S IN, HE'S OUT... SHUT THE DAMN DOOR

Lame title... lamer story.

Scherer just reported that Jerry "The King" Lawler his own damn self said that he has not been contacted by the WWF since the last time he "was not" contacted by the WWF (until they backed out on bringing his trophy wife along for the ride, then he screamed about how he was almost back on the show). So, he may be back, he may not be. I doubt anyone will tell the truth until after the fact.

But, Scherer also added that the Kat HAS been telling Lawler to go back to work. See, she has figured it out. IF he goes back, he can get real close with Vince and PERSONALLY work him until he decides to hire her back. No more of this whining via the Net, Lawler can work on the problem FROM THE INSIDE!!! STUPID ASS!!! DUHHH!!!

OY, FINDING GOOD COCAINE IS EASIER THAN THIS

Remember the bang up job Scott Hudson did during those brief times he sat in the announcer chair last week? Well, don't get used to it.

Hudson has a non-wrestling job and is keeping it. No WCW gig for him. They still need someone.

Do you think.... maybe.... the return of.... SHA-SHA-SHIAVONE???????

I say F-it and throw a ton of money to hire Bischoff ONLY as an announcer. That would ROCK.

FREE MONEY!!! I SMELL FREE MONEY!!!

Now that the whole Ryder thing was cleared up (he IS a creditor and he DID admit to it and I DID correct the story yesterday), we can further probe the question about the WWF's right to use ECW product on their air.

To do so, I turn things over (i.e.: I'm too damn tired to paraphrase this) to an old friend of mine from Scoops, Bob McGee, from PWBTS.com

"A number of online sources have speculated on the possible purchase of the ECW/HHG, Inc. name and/or properties; given the use of the ECW logo, the music that formerly opened the ECW TNN and syndicated TV shows, and the ECW name on Monday's RAW telecast.

The status of ECW/HHG's bankruptcy has been changed from a Chapter 11 (reorganization) to a Chapter 7 (liquidation) bankruptcy.

When Gary Davis of WWF Entertainment was asked as to whether or not WWFE has purchased these trademarked properties under Chapter 7, he replied that 'ECW was mentioned on WWF Raw Is War as part of the television show's ongoing fictional storyline. These are simply creative elements and part of the show.'

The question that Bob Ryder's recent Notes From Bob column posed has still gone unanswered...if said trademarked elements were NOT purchased, then how is WWFE legally entitled to use the name, logo, and trademarks of ECW/HHG without the court's permission?

If it HAS purchased these trademarked properties, then are ECW's creditors are entitled to compensation of some kind?

In something that may or may not be related, Harry Slash the creator, the creator of much ECW's composed music, specifically requested that the organizers of the upcoming Buffalo show that featured former ECW talent: '...I am hereby putting all videographers that are planning to film and release the show on notice. My attorney and I will not, under any circumstances, be issuing or allowing any video synchronization licenses regarding this show and my music.'

Would Harry Slash be the person entitled to issue permission for the use of the ECW/HHG music, at the very least?

PWBTS will keep you posted as we find more information on this situation."

And as soon as they do, 411 will steal it blindly post it here. Unless I get bored with this story... then I'll skip it.

LOCKER ROOM ETIQUETTE

How bad must it have been in a WCW Locker Room? All sorts of trouble between the WWF and the WCW stars have already gone down, and they haven't even been together for a month yet.

Nevermind the Bagwell stuff.... I'm talking about the young stars. First, Stacey Keibler pissed off some people by spending the majority of her first night with the WWF in her private room.

Now, Sean O'Haire insulted the Undertaker when he waited until last Tuesday Night to go up and introduce himself. I guess it's customary for new arrivals to formally introduce themselves to the UT on their first night. That may sound a bit silly, but considering the respect that the UT commands and the seriousness he takes moral.... it really doesn't surprise me.

So, on Tuesday night, O'Haire finally went up to pay some respects. The UT blew him off, saying that it was "too late for that". I'm sure O'Haire either said, "Oh sh*t. Sorry, man" or "Okay, F**k you then".

Well, Vince McMahon had to sit the WCW stars down and talk to them about how the locker room is run in the WWF. Vince encouraged them to talk to the WWF stars.... make friends with them... and especially check with them after a match to make sure they are doing okay.

Man... you have to wonder what sort of nightmare it was for a young guy to work in WCW.... you also have to wonder how amazed they were after seeing how tight knit the WWF is backstage. There is a HUGE AAT in this, I just have to find it (or let it find me).

Some, if not all of this was pulled from The Torch newsletter.

BUT, PLUGS

There are none. Everyone's busy. Go away. NO, stay... visit the Fan Forum and watch how many people say "farewell" to the forum because they are sick of all the idiot marks running around and yapping off about everyone else.

Honky's still quiet, so we hear from a wrestler who STILL has never mastered the Art of lower case type.

ERECTILE DYSFUNCTION

From his own web site Hugh Morrus, General Rection himself comments about the fight he recently had with Mark Jindrak and his excitement over what's to come.

Be warned... he YELLS... NON-STOP

NOW, TO THE “JUICEY STUFF” LET ME SQUASH THE RUMORS ABOUT
MYSELF AND MARK JINDRAK. NO! THERE WAS NO “PULL APART” AND THERE ARE NO HARD FEELINGS! EVERYONE IS TRYING TO ADAPT TO OUR NEW
SURROUNDINGS AND THE PEOPLE WE WORK FOR AND WILL WORK WITH. SO YES, WE WERE ALL EDGEI AND YES SOME TIMES THERE WAS A STRONG WORD SPOKEN. THAT’S WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU PUT ATHLETES(ENTERTAINERS) TOGETHER FOR A FEW DAYS. WE ARE ALL WORKING VERY HARD TO GET GOING AND SOMETIMES PASSION TURNS TO HARD WORDS. I HAVE ALWAYS BEEN A FAN OF MARK’S AND OF THE REST OF THE PEOPLE I AM WITH AND EVEN THE BEST OF FRIENDS, BROTHERS, SISTERS………….HAVE A FOUL WORD!

WE ARE HAVING ENOUGH TROUBLE GETTING INTO THIS NEW GROOVE WE DO NOT NEED BAD PRESS-AND IF YOU ARE GOING TO TELL IT DON’T MAKE IT BIGGER THEN IT IS /WAS!

THE WCW FINALLY MADE ITS DEBUT ON WWF TV. IT WAS HISTORIC AND
MET WITH MIXED FEELINGS BUT I HAVE TO SAY IT WAS GREAT TO WATCH. THE PRESSURE’S ARE DEFINITELY BUILDING AND WE ARE ALL BUCKING FOR POSITION. IT IS TIME FOR EVERYONE TO PROVE THEM SELVES ALL OVER AGAIN AND THIS WILL SURE TELL WHO IS GOING TO BE THE LEADERS OF THE NEW WCW!

I AM WAITING FOR THE “LAUGHING MAN’S” NUMBER TO BE CALLED AND I THINK I’M READY. I HAVE BEEN WORKING HARD TO GET IN RING SHAPE AND I AM GETTING LIGHTER EVERY DAY-BELIEVE IT OR NOT! IT IS NOT AS EASY AS EVERYONE (WE) THOUGHT IT WOULD BE TO ADAPT. THESE GUYS ARE THE BEST OF THE BEST AND WE ARE UNDER THE MICROSCOPE. WE WILL ALL BE STARTING FROM GROUND ZERO AND WILL HAVE TO PROVE OUR WORTH-SOME WILL MAKE IT AND SOME WONT BUT, FOR NOW I AM CONCENTRATING ON ME!

I HAVE TO SAY, ALL THE BOYS AND THE CREW HAVE OPENED THE DOORS TO US AND THERE HAS BEEN A LOT OF ENCOURAGING GOING ON FROM THE BOYS AND THE MANAGEMENT. IT HAS SURE BEEN HELPFUL WHEN YOU CAN GET ADVISE FROM YOUR PEERS AND HELPFUL HINTS ON HOW TO BECOME A BETTER ENTERTAINER AND PROFESSIONAL. I KNOW THIS ISN'T VERY “JUICEY STUFF” BUT BELIEVE ME WHEN I SAY IT IS A WHOLE DIFFERENT WORLD THEN WHAT I AM USED TO AND IT IS LARGER THEN LIFE TO ME! SORRY IF YOU ARE DISAPPOINTED WITH THE COMMENTARY BUT IT IS ALL I AM GIVING UP AT THIS TIME!

I'll say this for the guy... he damn sure is jacked up!

It's sort of nice, really... to read a guy just ACHING for a chance. He is clearly so EXCITED about the opportunity he is getting.

THAT is what wrestling is all about, kids.... everything else is just parsley

I'm gone.
